  1. Hello Iris,
It was lovely to meet you at the Energy Symposium and of course a pleasure to find you attended Central!
i did not want to correct you in the Rivard Report, but your reference to the savings in 2011 for installing solar appears to allude to San Antonio’s savings (the Brattle Group study). The savings of $520M is for the state of Texas. I did not see any other ‘facts’ in question, but you might want to make sure the ‘numbers’ refer to San Antonio or to the state.
Hope we meet again- I enjoy your writing.
    Warm regards,
    Lucy Stolzenburg

      Thank you, Lucy!

It was a pleasure! Sorry for the delay in response, the Rivard Report has made me quite busy these days (but I’m definitely not complaining!). You’re right, the proximity of that statement to a reference to San Antonio makes it appear that the study was conducted only at the city level. I’ll fix it right now to say “Texas utility customers” instead.

      Thanks again for the feedback!

I’ll be posting a story about recent solar installations downtown on Wednesday, hope you enjoy!
